Wedding Photography, The Cruin, Loch Lomond – Lauren & Robert
If you’re going to be a wedding photographer in Glasgow then you need to be prepared to make awesome photographs in any weather conditions. Traditionally, photographers don’t like very sunny conditions, as it creates strong contrast and technical difficulties.
However, despite these difficulties, I love the sunny weddings because they give me a myriad of creative options. And you know one of the best things I’ve found about warm, sunny weddings?…..
Everyone smiles more 🙂
Lauren & Robert traveled all the way from Australia for their wedding here, and brought a large Australian contingent with them. During his speech, Robert’s brother the best man, was reminiscing whilst brandishing his Sgian Dubh (‘skeen-du’ – the little ornamental knife often worn with a kilt). Suddenly, a guy at the back of the room jumps up – waving the large knife that was used to cut the wedding cake – and shouts……”THAT’S NOT A KNIFE!……….THAT’S A KNIFE!!”
I’m not ashamed to say that I had to wipe little droplets of laughter spit from the back of my camera 😉
