Wedding Photography, Cameron House, Loch Lomond – Lindsay & Brian
Despite multiple unavoidable potential setbacks that included broken hire cars and a delayed wedding band (through no fault of their own), Lindsay & Brian had the kind of unflappable, fun seeking, ‘show-must-go-on’ attitude that carried the day off with style. The weather & locations were amazing and, as a photographer, I couldn’t have had it much better : )
The grand Cameron House in Loch Lomond was the backdrop for the reception & gave us photographic opportunities aplenty. I pride myself on not just using the obvious locations that a venue may provide in terms of backdrops, but searching out the unique little treasures that can be found in most places if you look closely enough. To this end we took a quick stroll around the grounds a little later in the day when the crowds had dissipated & the warm evening light was streaming through the foliage, to get some lovely, peaceful, romantic shots of the bride & groom. By this point I think Brian & Lindsay trusted me enough follow me on my seemingly random (pre-prepared) route through the grounds, through long grass & bird feathers to get the shots I wanted. And what’s more, I think they enjoyed it : )
As for the evening celebrations, the bride & groom provided what I think was the best display of fluid dancing prowess that I think I’ve witnessed to date………..see below for proof!
My favourite parts of the day:
* That killer evening light that we managed to catch the last of, post-dinner.
