Wedding Photography, Pollokshields Burgh Halls, Glasgow – Damien & Danielle’s

Another drizzly day in Glasgow, nothing new there! Danielle was getting ready at The Boutique hotel, Woodside place in Glasgow which was a luxurious venue, ideal for lots of fly-on-the-wall type shots of the bride, friends & family getting into their finery & enjoying a relaxing morning. Well, I say relaxed, it actually became a little more intense the closer we came to the big moment!

Damien is a military man & this gave a splash of novelty to the wedding party aesthetic, as some of the boys wore their uniforms for the day…..steady ladies! It was a lovely day despite the weather, & we managed a stroll around neighbouring Maxwell park for the bride & groom photography, between the bouts of rain.  And a good time was had by all, well into the evening!

My favourite moment of the day:   An inconclusive first throwing of the bridal bouquet (there obviously has to be a clear victor!), which required a second throwing & a resultant demolished bouquet.
